What will the charge show as on my credit card statement?
The charge will say “Protection Plan Center”.
When can I use the protection plan?
The plan will become active on your date of purchase. Each plan is for a specific period of time: 2, or 3 years. Your coverage will remain in effect for that entire term.
What is your Return Policy?
Within 30 Days:If you purchased your Plan within the last 30 days, you will receive a full refund (unless you have already filed a warranty claim then they amount will be less any claims paid. )
After 30 Days:If you purchased your Plan more than 30 days ago, you will receive apro-rated refund, based on the amount of time remaining on your Plan term less any claims paid.
You can cancel your plan at any time by calling us at 800-656-6119 or emailing support@protectionplancenter.com. Your refund will be processed within 72 hours of cancellation.
What does the plan NOT cover?
- Lost or stolen equipment
- New installation or removal of an existing installation
- Customer education
- Video game devices, non satellite receivers, home theater systems, DVD players, or any other non satellite equipment
- Batteries
- Problems with the television, set up of a new television
- System tampering or misuse of the equipment
- Shipping and handling fees
Is this protection plan through my TV or Internet provider?
No. We are not affiliated with any providers. We are strictly a third party coverage on top of your standard warranty.
What if I need a tech to come out?
Your service provider will schedule a service call if you need one. Our plan will reimburse you up to $99.99 per service call. To be reimbursed for a service call just contact us to start a claim and receive your reimbursement within 2 weeks!
Can a business / commercial account get a protection plan?
These plans are currently only for residential customers.
